From fantasy to family. Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher has been living the fantasy lifestyle, but is now facing reality. The Season 12 lead, who was Bachelor Ben Higgins’s finalist, will meet the families of her final four suitors, Robby Hayes, Luke Pell, Jordan Rodgers and Chase McNary, on the upcoming episode airing Monday, July 18.
The Dallas native will join her remaining contenders for hometown dates — before cutting one loose. Here, The Knot takes a look at the four remaining finalists vying to become JoJo’s future husband with previews of what to expect on the new episode.
The former pro football player has been the front-runner since day one after JoJo gave him the first impression rose. Since then, his competitors have felt added pressure to compete with this confident suitor.
While the kissing scenes between JoJo and Jordan may not be as steamy as her make-out sessions with Luke, JoJo is intent to find the man she wants to spend her life with – and Jordan just may be the one.
But things could get awkward when the former pro quarterback takes the Bachelorette home to Chico, California, to meet his family. He is not in contact with his NFL player brother, Aaron, making the family dynamic unique.
He’s remained somewhat of a mystery throughout the season, but his charm hasn’t gone unnoticed. On the latest Bachelorette episode, Robby stripped down (in more than one way), determined to stay in the running.
During a group date game of truth or dare, JoJo persuaded Robby to streak through the hotel in his skivvies. Reluctantly, he completed the task – even showing off his bare derriere for JoJo in front of his competitors. He later opened up about his last longterm relationship, which ended only months ago.
For Robby, baring all paid off! He was given the group date rose, earning him even more alone time with JoJo. She’ll be joining the 27-year old former swimmer in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida, for hometowns.
Hello, Texas! JoJo and Luke have undeniable chemistry, but it’s unclear if their connection runs deeper.
During their one-on-one date last week, JoJo and Luke rode horses in the Argentinian countryside. The date reminded Luke of his family’s ranch, which we’re hopeful JoJo will visit during hometowns.
Luke may have the upper hand when it comes to hometown locations. The 31-year old resides in Burnet, Texas – only a three hour drive from JoJo’s hometown of Dallas.
Chase is adorable, but he has a lot of catching up to do in order to win JoJo’s heart. He’s held back throughout the season, leaving the Bachelorette puzzled and even more intrigued.
JoJo has shared with Chase that she needs “words of affirmation,” but time is running out. Will a hometown date in this 27-year old’s stomping grounds of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, be his cue to finally open up? We shall see!
Tune in to The Bachelorette airing Monday, July 18, on ABC.
