Another dose of nostalgia! Kristen Bell celebrated Valentine’s Day by sharing yet another moment from her 2013 wedding to Dax Shepard.
In the adorable video posted to Bell’s Instagram account, the lovebirds are on their way to the Beverly Hills County Clerk’s Office in a 1967 Lincoln Continental.
“Wanna get married?” Shepard asks after giving Bell a kiss. In an attempt to calm his bride’s nerves, he steps on the gas, which causes the actress to burst out laughing.
Here are 11 seconds of one of my happiest days. Driving in the ’67 Lincoln to the courthouse, listening to #brettdennen on a mix My Valentine made especially for this particular ride. I’m filled with excitement and nervous energy. And then he floors it- just to make me giggle. I love you with my whole heart, @daxshepard – for everything you are and all that you have taught me. Happy Valentine’s day. #happyvalentinesday #valentines #valentinesday
“Here are 11 seconds of one of my happiest days,” Bell, 36, captioned the black-and-white video. “Driving in the ‘67 Lincoln to the courthouse, listening to #brettdennen on a mix My Valentine made especially for this particular ride. I’m filled with excitement and nervous energy. And then he floors it–just to make me giggle. I love you with my whole heart, @daxshepard–for everything you are and all that you have taught me. Happy Valentine’s day.”
The Good Place star first revealed photos from the city hall nuptials in an interview last summer. “We got married in a tiny room in the Beverly Hills courthouse, and it was still one of the best days of my life,” she told CBS News at the time.
As recalled, the ceremony only set the talented duo back $142. Bell wore a simple, black dress, and Shepard, 42, donned a black suit and bow tie. The Veronica Mars alum also recently shared a #TBT snap from the low-key ceremony. In the emotional photo, Shepard and the officiant are laughing, and the bride looks ready to burst into tears.
“#tbt to when I cried at our wedding and @daxshepard thought it was really funny,” she wrote, alongside the wedding snapshot.

Bell knew Shepard was “the one” when she realized he’d never leave her side. “When setting aside the love we had for each other, I recognized he made a decision to choose me,” she said in a 2016 interview with Glamour. “I recognized he made a decision to stay in this relationship. Because actually, at our hardest times, at the times we were screaming at each other, I recognized he was the one because he wasn’t leaving.”
The actors share two daughters, Lincoln, 3, and Delta, 2.
