Mum’s the word! Meghan Markle wasn’t about to give away any spoilers when she sat on a panel at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas, on Sunday—least of all about how her romance with Prince Harry will end.
The Suits actress made the public appearance (her first since Pippa Middleton’s wedding late last month) in honor of the FX series’ 100th episode, and did a live table read with the show’s creators and co-stars.
But members of the audience undoubtedly had one very important question on their minds, and according to the UK’s Telegraph, one reporter didn’t shy away from asking it, asking the 35-year-old star whether she hopes to marry the young royal.
Instead of dignifying the question with an answer, Markle answered in the best way possible: With no words at all, but a big, bright smile. Though the nonresponse wasn’t exactly a confirmation, it is one of the pair’s first public acknowledgements of their relationship since they were first linked last fall.
Middleton’s wedding wasn’t the first romantic fete that the couple attended together, however. Earlier this year, in March, Markle joined Harry, 32, for his childhood friend’s wedding in Jamaica. The actress also stopped by the Audi Polo Challenge in Ascot, England, last month to watch her boyfriend participate in the sporting event. They were subsequently photographed kissing in the parking lot.
While she remained coy about her romance at ATX, Markle had much to say about growing with her cast members since the pilot. “We were in a group email the other day and I was saying we’d all lived in the same corporate housing so on top of working together we were living together which makes a whole different dynamic, I think,” she said (via People). “We just became this whole family right out the gate.”
