A model fiance. Alessandra Ambrosio‘s longtime partner, Jamie Mazur, celebrated the supermodel’s 36th birthday on Tuesday, April 11, with the sweetest message. The entrepreneur took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of his future bride.
“Happy birthday Ale. I love you so much,” he sweetly captioned the image. “This picture of you from when Anja was like 2 years old. I love to see you smile like this. Me and the kids wish we could be with you today to celebrate you. Love always and forever.”
Ambrosio and Mazur have been engaged since 2008. The couple, who share two children, Anja, 8, and Noah, 4, are in no rush to the altar. The kids helped their mom celebrate before she went off to work.

In a 2015 interview with Extra, the Brazilian beauty shared that her work as a model takes a lot of preparation, not leaving much time for wedding planning. “When I do the wedding it’s gonna be very special,” she explained. “So I wanna take time for that too.”
In a separate interview with Vogue UK last May, the Victoria’s Secret Angel explained why she no longer wears her three-carat, square-cut engagement ring. “Jamie has given me some beautiful pieces of jewelry that I could never part with–like the first thing he gave me, I still have–although I few of them I have lost. I’m pretty bad for that.”
As it turns out, Ambrosio misplaced the ring Mazur proposed to her with. “I actually lost my engagement ring a few years ago, so I do want to replace it,” she revealed to the magazine. “I don’t know if he’s going to make me replace it myself since I lost it!”
