Game face. Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian knows he’s found his perfect match in Serena Williams—and he’s declaring it to the world. Following his wedding in New Orleans on Thursday, the tech guru took to Instagram early Saturday, November 18, to share a few sentimental posts from the wedding—including a sweet love letter to the bride.
“You are the greatest of all time, not just in sport–I’m talking about as a mother and as a wife,” Ohanian, who shares recently-born daughter Alexis Jr. with his wife, wrote alongside a wedding photo. “I am so excited to write so many more chapters of our fairy tale together. And my whole life I didn’t even realize it, but I was waiting for this moment.”
The couple married in a Beauty and the Beast-themed wedding at the Contemporary Arts Ceremony this week. (Yes, their first dance was to “Tale As Old As Time.”) Vogue posted the first images from the couple’s nuptials, which the couple then shared to their respective Instagram accounts.
“And everything that I have done, everything that I am so proud of in my career, and in my life, for the last 34 years, pales in comparison to what we’re doing today,” Ohanian expressed. “And I am so grateful, and I am so in love.” Fittingly, Ohanian posted a photo of the two sharing a kiss at the altar taken by Allan Zepeda for Mel Barlow.
For the occasion, the bride looked resplendent in a regal, caped creation by Alexander McQueen. She then pulled a dress swap after the ceremony and wore a feathered gown by Versace to her reception.
