Now that’s a high-fashion baby announcement! Actress Amanda Seyfried is expecting her first child with fiance Thomas Sadoski.
The Mamma Mia! star, 30, made the big reveal on Tuesday, November 29, at the launch event for Givenchy’s Live Irrésistible fragrance. Seyfried proudly showed off her baby bump in a sheer and lace-comprised little black dress, which she completed with stilettos.
She also posed with her left hand on her hip, giving an even closer look at her simple-but-elegant engagement ring from Sadoski.
This will be the first child for the couple, who first met on the set of their movie, The Last Word. Their relationship turned romantic this past spring, and the pair got engaged months later. Seyfriend’s rep confirmed the couple’s engagement news in September. It will be the first marriage for the actress, and the second for Newsroom actor Sadoski, 40.
Ahead of motherhood, Seyfried expressed a desire to have a family and kids in an August 2015 interview with Marie Claire UK.
“I keep feeling like my eggs are dying off,” the Mean Girls star joked at the time. “I want a child. Badly. I want to be a mother, badly. That’s what I feel. I’ve been feeling it for like, two years. I’m not ready but nobody’s ready. It changes everything… so how you can ever be ready for that?”
