She would like something new. Actress Amanda Seyfried is finally opening up about her engagement and pregnancy news in a no-holds-barred interview with Vogue Australia.

The actress, 31, told the mag in its January 2017 issue that she’s not only anticipating both life occasions… she’s prepared. “I’ve never been excited by anything more in my life,” the future mom reflected (via E! News). “And ready.”

When it comes to her wedding day, the Mean Girls star would like it to be a low-key (but memorable!) affair. “I don’t want to be the [center] of attention,” she mused. “I get to go to premieres and get dressed up all the time. I went to the Met Gala last year in a wedding gown designed by Riccardo Tisci; I’ve played a bride a billion times.”

Seyfried has, in fact, previously played brides in films like Mamma Mia!, The Big Wedding and Les Miserables. “I got married so many times in my life—onscreen!” she expressed. “I don’t want a white dress! I’ve worn so many of them. You know what I mean? The fact is, that kind of stuff is less about the ceremony and more about the commitment.”

The actress and Newsroom actor Sadowski confirmed their engagement news this past September. Two months later, it was revealed they’re expecting their first child together.
