Yes, please. Shortly after it was reported that Amy Schumer had secretly married her chef boyfriend, Chris Fischer, this past Tuesday, February 13, the comedian took to Instagram to share the first look inside the nuptials on Thursday.
The couple married in an outdoor, oceanfront ceremony on the terrace of a private home in Malibu. The ceremony overlooked the coast of the Pacific, and featured a neutral and blush palette of colors. About 80 people witnessed the nuptials including celeb guests like Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Aniston, Larry David, Judd Apatow, Jake Gyllenhaal, and David Spade.
The first photos from the ceremony show the bride, 36, in an ethereal, spaghetti strap gown with a simple-but-detailed bodice. The actress swept her hair back in a low ponytail and accessorized her tresses with a white flower.
Schumer included a pic of close pal Lawrence, wearing a blush pink column gown with a black sash at her waist, giving her a kiss with the Pacific in the backdrop.
The bride and groom comically included their dogs in the ceremony, and Schumer shared a pic of the two fluffy little ones making their walk down the aisle much to the delight of guests.
She simply captioned the moment as “Yup.”
The actress then followed up with a separate post to share a few thoughts about the sudden nuptials. Schumer and Fischer only went public this past weekend, though the two have been linked since November 2017.
She wrote, “2 things. No I’m not pregnant.”
“And no gifts, but thank you for asking. Instead please consider [a] donation to Everytown for Gun Safety. Thought of Mayce and Jillian a lot yesterday and sending love to everyone who has been affected by gun violence.”
