Newlyweds Amy Schumer and husband Chris Fischer didn’t have to travel far to enjoy the first stretch of their marriage after quietly exchanging vows on February 13.
The comedienne, 36, took to Instagram over the weekend to update fans on their whereabouts, and it looks like the pair ended up in Las Vegas—a short distance away from California, where they exchanged vows. Schumer posted several photos from Sin City over the weekend, including one image of herself hiking with her husband at Red Rock Canyon outside of Las Vegas.
“We are already on the rocks,” she jokingly captioned the shot.
The actress also posted a video of herself hilariously curling around her husband with friends as he walks through a casino. “When someone gets up to walk to the bathroom during the Olympics it is essential you curl them to their destination,” she joked. “#walkcurling.”
As previously reported, Schumer and the chef married at a private home in Malibu overlooking the ocean. Guests included Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lawrence, Jake Gyllenhaal, Larry David and Judd Apatow. After news broke that Schumer had secretly married Fischer, the bride took to social media to unveil and release photos from the intimate occasion.
Red Sparrow actress Lawrence, a close friend of Schumer’s in Hollywood, also opened up about nuptials from a guest perspective. “The best moment? I think their vows,” she told E! News this weekend. “John Early ordained them in his character that’s a blonde southern woman, so we were laughing throughout and crying because their vows were so beautiful. It was very Amy, very funny at the same time. Quintessential Amy. It was just beautiful and gorgeous.”
