Wedding and a baby, oh my! Angela Simmons, the daughter of RUN-DMC hip-hop elite Rev. Run and star of Growing Up Hip Hop, revealed she’s expecting her first baby a month after sharing her engagement news on Instagram.

Simmons took to Instagram on Friday, May 27, to share her expectant news with the world — and even posted a pic of her bump. The hip-hop scion, who was on a hike, posted a photo of herself in black and coral workout gear. In the snap, she lifts up her tank top to reveal her growing bump.

“We are overjoyed and super excited to receive a blessing this big,” she wrote, alongside the pic of scenic mountains in the background. “Starting a family was something that I could have only dreamed of!”

The sentiment mirrored that of her Instagram engagement announcement from April 26.

The reality star and fashion designer revealed her engagement to fans last month by sharing a video of her sparkling engagement ring. “YES!! I couldn’t be more excited,” she wrote at the time. “This is only something I could of only dreamed of. I’m over the moon and feeling so blessed to be able to share my life with the one I truly love. Everything happened in the most perfect way.”

Both her engagement and pregnancy news comes as a huge surprise to followers of the Foofi fashion brand designer, who had kept her relationship a well-hidden secret. She still has yet to publicly announce the name of her beau who was barely visible in a piggy-back “man crush everyday” photo from March 17. His identity was later revealed as Atlanta business man Sutton Sean Tennyson.
