It’s been an aca-amazing year for Pitch Perfect couple Skylar Astin and Anna Camp, who recently celebrated their one-year anniversary. On Thursday, October 5, Camp stopped by Live With Kelly and Ryan where she looked back on her wedding day and the first year of marriage with Astin.
“September is a huge, huge month. I just celebrated my one-year anniversary,” Camp told the show hosts as the audience cheered. “It was a beautiful, beautiful day. And then, his birthday.”
Camp looked back on her wedding day and said she remembered key details from the nuptials because she made an effort to do so. “Everyone told us that you’re going to get separated and you’re not going to see your husband,” she said. “But we worked really hard to stay together, so we remember everything. I feel like I did.”
On Instagram, both stars marked the happy occasion with sweet posts. “Happy first Anniversary to my sweet heart best friend,” she wrote. “Laughing loving crying hugging kissing soul mate. Let’s keep dancing together… @skylarastin.”

Astin also marked the occasion last month with a sentimental post on Instagram. “Exactly one year ago I married the woman of my dreams,” he said. “Thank you for being a dream come true every day. I’ll walk anywhere with you baby.”
Along with their first anniversary, the couple celebrated their birthdays recently as well. “Skylar turned 30,” Camp said Thursday. “And then, a couple days later, I had my birthday.. I’m a little bit of a cougar.”
With all the festivities came plenty of opportunities to consume sweets. “We had three cakes in a refrigerator. If you cut me open, I’m like frosting,” she joked. “But no more cake for the rest of the year.”
