That dress is aca-everything. Anna Camp, who married her Pitch Perfect co-star Skylar Astin this weekend in central California, swapped into a second dress for her wedding reception. The Knot caught up with designer Hayley Paige — who created Camp’s second dress — and got some exclusive details about the ethereal number.
“Anna Camp is aca-amazing,” Paige told us at her NYC offices on Wednesday, September 14. “And we had so much fun getting to work with her. She has a very fun and flirtatious style. What I love is that she really combines these playful elements – something that’s romantic and feminine, but also a little bit spunky.”
The bride, 33, wore a strapless tulle and lace gown by Reem Acra for the ceremony, and then changed into a custom Hayley Paige design.
“We did a fun and flirty feathered skirt,” Paige explained. “It had this really beautiful, romantic lace bodice with a sheer, illusion nude lining. And that’s actually one of the really big trends that are happening.”
Camp adorably accessorized her reception look with a key statement piece. “She rocked it with a pair of gold sneakers!” Paige told The Knot. “I think that is super-chic and so personalized. I think it speaks to the fact that the bride in this generation can really make up her own rules and do something that really speaks to her[self] on a personal level.
The actress took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a photo of her Hayley Paige dress. “CRAVE Feathers, lace, and gold sneakers make after parties dance central..” Camp wrote. “Thank you@misshayleypaige for the gorgeous dress and @jlm_couture for everything!
