Apprentice alum Omarosa Manigault is engaged! Hours after she was spotted wearing an engagement ring, the tv personality and businesswoman confirmed the happy news that she’s set to marry her boyfriend John Allen Newman.
TMZ reported Omarosa’s engagement on Monday, July 25, stating that her pastor beau popped the question in front of parishioners at The Sanctuary at Mt. Calvary in Jacksonville, Florida. The couple first met while she was teaching at Howard University.
Suspicions were raised when Manigault, 42, shared an image of herself sporting a massive band full of diamonds that resembles more of a Super Bowl ring than an engagement ring. The favored Apprentice villainess then confirmed the news of her engagement to Us Weekly Monday night.
Since her appearance on Apprentice Manigault has kept close ties with former boss and presidential candidate Donald Trump. Having previously been the Vice Chairman for his National Diversity Coalition, Trump elected Manigault to become his presidential campaign’s Director of African-American Outreach which she gladly accepted.
Manigault, who is a pastor herself at Weller Street Baptist Church in Los Angeles, California, will have no problem finding an officiant for her wedding to Newman, though it’s not her first trip down the aisle. In 2000 she wed Aaron Stallworth whom she divorced in 2005.
