“I do,” round two. Former Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. and wife Lauren Burnham have renewed their vows in Las Vegas just nine months after getting married in January 2019.

“We got married on Saturday (again) in the back of a pink caddy in Vegas,” Luyendyk revealed on Instagram. “Our new friend and legend @mrjordan1911 officiated (Elvis sat this one out). Can’t wait to show you guys more.”

In her own post, Burnham wrote, “@ariejr’s so nice I married him twice! We always joked about ditching our plans for the first wedding and eloping in Vegas so we thought, what the heck, why not have both?” She continued, “Best decision we ever made as this day will be a hilarious memory we will cherish forever.”

Although it’s been less than a year since their wedding, there was one major difference at the vow renewal: Luyendyk and Burnham were accompanied by their daughter, Alessi, who was born in May.

In January, the duo opened up to The Knot about their emotional Maui nuptials. “It was a moment I’ll never forget,” Luyendyk said. “As soon as I saw her, I began to cry. All I could say to myself was, ‘Hold it together!’ She looked just as I had imagined when I played the scene in my head a thousand times before that day… perfect.”

Burnham added, “I knew I was going to be emotional once I saw Arie, because I, too, had been picturing that moment in my head over and over again. I was tearing up as I walked towards Arie, but my dad did a good job of keeping things light for me.”

The couple’s unexpected vow renewal marks another milestone of their unconventional relationship. After meeting (and falling in love) on Season 22 of the hit ABC reality series, Burnham was sent home in the final episode while Luyendyk got engaged to Becca Kufrin—though the Bachelor broke off the engagement in favor of Burnham just weeks later.

When Burnham and Luyendyk reunited for the first time since their breakup on the season’s live After the Final Rose special, the Bachelor proposed and Burnham happily accepted.

“I think he is great, but the one thing that is present right now to me is just his bravery and his honesty,” she said at the time. “I think that he did an amazing job at handling this whole thing, and he couldn’t have gone about it in a more respectful way, and I’m really proud of him.”
