From the bedroom to the boardroom! One of the biggest challenges facing Maneka and Mayur, a newlywed couple featured on FYI’s Arranged, is that they don’t spend enough quality time together. So, the newlywed wife decides to do something to fix the issue, and The Knot gets an exclusive preview of what to expect on the episode airing Tuesday, June 21.
In the clip, Maneka meet her husband in a conference room at work. She tells him that she had to schedule an appointment with him in order to get some face time to discuss the issues at hand. “It was the only way I could get in here to talk to you,” she says to her surprised spouse. “You’re always so busy. We just got married and you have to give your wife more time and attention.”
In the confessional, Maneka explains why she went this route. “I’m gonna have a discussion with Mayur about blocking some time for us,” she shares. “I want a relationship and I’m gonna be with this man for the rest of my life … Mayur is great at negotiating so I have to figure out how to talk like a CEO.”
Maneka then requests the two get dinner together that night, which Mayur says isn’t a viable option due to a scheduling conflict. “I don’t want us to be hustling when we’re 60 years old,” he says, while alluding to the fact that they want to have children together.
The couple married in December 2015, and recently opened up to The Knot about life after marriage. Thankfully, their bond and relationship has strengthened even after the cameras stopped rolling. “I love seeing Maneka around the office and it still puts a smile on my face every time,” Mayur told The Knot. “It’s just as it was before we got married but this time I get to take my ‘wife’ home and we get to be together.”

She told us in the same interview: “We carpool to work often, go to lunch together and whenever we have breaks, check to make sure we both are doing fine. If I’m busy with my work, and a few hours pass by and we don’t talk to or see each other, I’ll receive a sweet text from Mayur saying he loves me and can’t wait to go home so we have ‘us’ time.”
