Hot off the heels of avocado proposals, this new themed vacation has the potential to make every Instagram-loving, green juice-drinking newlywed’s wish list.
Casa Velas, an all-inclusive resort based in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, is now offering an avocado-themed vacation that offers everything from yummy avocado-based dishes and cocktails to entire spa treatments using the Mexico-native fruit.
In a promotion being billed as “Guacamania,” Casa Velas is going all out, with a special menu at its Mexican restaurant, Emiliano, featuring everything from avocado burritos (standard) to avocado ceviche (less standard) to chocolate mousse (made with avocado) to avocado tiramisu (this one sounds lick-the-plate delicious).
Outside of the restaurant, Casa Velas is also offering a number of avocado-based cocktails for the celebratory event, including an avo and pina colada martini, blended and served right to you poolside.

For those hoping to simply snack on some avocado-based light bites, the resort is also offering up some fresh-made guacamole (a classic) and avocado shaved ice (less standard).
Couples looking to up their avocado ante can also book an appointment at the Casa Velas spa, where they can enjoy full-body scrubs, a yogurt-and-avocado-based body wrap and even moisturizing avocado-based hair conditioning treatments.
The adult-only resort is all-inclusive, meaning that guests can feel free to indulge in as much avocado goodness as their hearts desire for a nightly rate, starting at $280 per person per night.
Room sizes range from master suites, with views overlooking the ground’s gardens, to presidential suites, each equipped with four bedrooms, a full bar and a dining table for four (though, if Guacamania turns out to be a honeymoon destination, it may be best to keep the number of guests to a minimum).
And it looks as though avocados are having quite the moment in all stages of a couple’s love life: earlier this year, avocado proposals became a thing after popular Instagram account Food Deco (run by a food stylist and photographer) shared a photo of an engagement ring delicately positioned inside a halved, pitted avocado.
“Tag someone who should propose like this,” the caption read. And as of today, with more than 11,000 likes and 2,500 comments, it seems like many people would.
