It’s official on paper! Bachelor alum Nikki Ferrell and her fiance, Tyler Vanloo, got their marriage license on Thursday, October 6.
Ferrell posted a cute Instagram photo of herself with Vanloo outside of the Jackson County Court House in Missouri. The Kansas City-based couple beamed and proudly held up their marriage license ahead of their wedding this weekend.
The couple will exchange vows before family and friends on Saturday, October 8. The lovebirds enjoyed a 10-month engagement after Vanloo proposed this past January during a romantic vacation in Colorado. Ferrell announced the news at the time by writing, “I can’t wait to marry my best friend. Over the moon happy right now!”

The future bride, 29, and groom were longtime friends before their romance developed. In 2014, Ferrell famously competed on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season 18 of ABC’s The Bachelor — and she won. Ultimately, her contentious relationship with the Venezuelan soccer player didn’t pan out, but she found true love several months after the split.
Ahead of her wedding day, Ferrell posted an engagement shoot photo on Wednesday with a sweet message.
“I can’t believe it’s only 3 days until we get married!” she wrote. “3 days for me to perfect my terrible dance moves and to finish up the last minute list. It seems like just 3 days ago we got engaged. Normally I keep most of my life’s details private, but tune in the next 3 days for a couple of “sneak peeks” of some of the beautiful details that I just can’t keep under wraps til the wedding. #soontobemrs #weddinglife#goingtothechapel #details.”
