Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s Season 22 Contestants Revealed: Meet Them Here

The race begins. Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. will become a household name come January 2018, and to tease the pending season of ABC’s smash franchise, producers revealed the names, the occupations and the photos of the ladies vying for the race car driver’s heart this season.

Among them? A savvy bachelorette named Maquel who makes a grand entrance in a Formula One race car replica, as well as a TV host named Jessica who’s previously met Arie—and believes their interaction was fate. Interesting occupations include an event designer (because weddings!) and a personal stylist. The season lead will also need to get his last names straight, since four women named Lauren will be competing the first night.

According to ABC, Luyendyk will cut the number from 29 to 21 by the end of the highly-anticipated cocktail party at the Bachelor mansion. The new Bachelor is best known as the runner-up on Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette. Luyendyk was considered previously for the role, but the timing did not work out according to plan.
