And then there were three. Bachelor Nick Viall sent one woman home in tears before jetting off to Finland with his final three contestants on the February 27 episode. Here, The Knot recaps the highlights from the emotional episode.
Andi’s Return
After inviting the women to New York City for the next rose ceremony, Nick receives a surprise visit from Andi Dorfman, the season 10 Bachelorette who broke his heart. They share a drink in his hotel room, and Nick admits to feeling insecure about being the heartbreaker this season.
When Andi asks if he plans to have sex with any of the contestants, Nick says he’s unsure. But Andi encourages him to “go for it” if he has strong feelings for any of the women.
Corinne is “Done”
Meanwhile, emotions are running high as the final four women arrive for the rose ceremony. After handing out roses to Raven, Rachel, and Vanessa, Nick sends Corinne home.
“I’m done trying to show my men how much I worship them and I love them, and I care for them, and I support them,” Corinne says as she rides away in the limo. “I need that, so if someone feels that way about me, they can come and tell me, and they can bring a ring to go along with it. I am done trying to impress these men. I will never kiss up to a man ever again in my life.”
Off to Finland
Nick is looking forward to overnight dates with the three remaining women. He’s hoping to find clarity in Lapland, Finland.
Raven’s Confession
First, Nick and Raven share a helicopter ride, and spend time at a local pub. During an intimate conversation, Raven admits that she’s nervous about the fantasy suite, but Nick explains that he has no expectations.
Later that night, Nick and Raven have an open and honest talk about Raven’s feelings. She’s shaky as she tells Nick she loves him, causing an emotional reaction from Nick. “That’s one of the best professions of love I think I’ve ever heard,” Nick responds.
Raven reads the fantasy suite invitation and immediately accepts, but she has two confessions: “I’ve only been with one person,” she tells Nick. “The second thing is that my ex never made me orgasm.”
Sneak Peek
On next week’s three-hour Bachelor event, Nick has a heated discussion with Vanessa, and he urges Rachel to “get out of her head.”
