There’s so much love between Becca and Garrett that this ring had three large diamonds. Bachelorette Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen are very much happily engaged as it was revealed on Monday night’s season 14 finale of ABC’s reality show.
Like their predecessors, finalists Yrigoyen and Blake Horstmann both sat down with jeweler to the stars Neil Lane in the Maldives to source the ideal ring for Kufrin. Yrigoyen opted for a brilliant ring comprised of 18-karat gold and a three-stone design.
The center stone itself is a large oval, while two oval-cut stones accentuate both sides all on a diamond-studded band. The ring’s total weight is 3.76 carats.
“You could tell Garrett was genuinely smitten, and just so excited and enthusiastic to be with Becca – he was funny, sweet and charismatic,” Lane told People on Tuesday. “He took the process of picking out the ring so, so seriously and seemed to enjoy it. He really studied them thoroughly and had a grin on his face, from ear to ear, the whole time.”
The concept was rather different from previous Bachelor and Bachelorette ring designs. “I wanted it to be elegant, quite glamorous and I wanted to use gold,” Lane added. “It’s a whole different concept—it has three oval stones, which helps celebrate both of them as a couple and the third diamond represents their future together.”
