Alabama Hannah is shedding her sash. ABC released its very first teaser for season 15 of The Bachelorette, starring Hannah Brown, a contestant on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor, who was a former Miss Alabama USA.

The dramatic, new footage features Hannah wearing a Disney princess-inspired piece, which appears to be a ball gown that later reveals a detachable skirt. As Brown makes her way through an enchanted forest, she sheds her beauty queen crown, her sash, and her skirt, transforming into a modern day woman in a pantsuit.

“Think you know her?” the tagline reads. “Think again.”

With 15 seasons of The Bachelorette already under ABC’s ratings success, the format of the show has slightly changed in 2019. This time around, fans have already met Brown’s contestants, a step previously used to tease the series a few weeks ahead of the season premiere.

Creator Mike Fleiss has also revealed images from a reunion of all 15 series leads gathered at the Bachelor Mansion in time for the anniversary of the show.

Brown, meanwhile, was a bit of a controversial and unexpected choice for the lead, especially since she wasn’t even a finalist on the show. “We had an embarrassment of riches in terms of potential leads,” ABC exec Robert Mills previously told E! News. “We met all these girls over a one-week span maybe three or four weeks ago. We sort of knew immediately. It was like, wow, OK, it’s Hannah B.”

“There was just something about Hannah B. She felt very different,” he continued. “I think she almost came in thinking that she was a bit of an after-thought, you know, they’re taking this meeting, but [was] sure we were going to go with someone who finished farther in the show.… I think that she was really herself. She was much more at ease. She was refreshing and we felt like this is going to be a different kind of season with her because she’s someone who is going to certainly speak her mind, own that, as she says, she’s kind of a mess.”

The season premieres on Monday, May 13, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
