Roses… wilt? Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher and her fiancé, Jordan Rodgers, seemingly experienced the perfect bookend to their reality television adventure when he proposed on the season 12 finale of the franchise in 2016.
However, their prolonged engagement has left select fans and viewers to speculate whether a wedding or marriage is even being considered, and they’re now looking to address it all as part of their new web reality series entitled Engaged with JoJo and Jordan.
“Unlike TV, we don’t have to be picture-perfect anymore,” Fletcher explains in the teaser. “You’re about to get the real reality of our love story.”
The pair, seated on a couch inside their Dallas home, reflect back on the ups and downs they had to endure after the season finale. “I’ll be honest, we didn’t deal with it very well in the beginning,” Fletcher notes as she turns to Rodgers. “I don’t even know if I can talk to you about this moment.”
Along with fielding a constant barrage of questions related to their future wedding, one boldly states in the trailer: “I’m still gonna end up getting married.” The fun teaser includes family cameos, DIY makeovers within homes—a passion of Fletcher’s—and more insight into the real life romance that developed after the final rose.
In February the couple addressed their reasons for a prolonged engagement in an interview with People. “It’s something that we continually talk about,” Rodgers told the mag. “But I think what’s best right now is we feel no pressure to do it. Think about it: When you get together in an accelerated process, it makes sense to take your time afterwards. We still have no doubts about what we want to do, and we want to get married—but we want to enjoy every moment of it.”
