Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe was in a wedding this weekend — but it wasn’t her own!
The Season 11 lead and her fiance, Shawn Booth, attended a gorgeous wedding at the University of British Columbia’s Museum of Anthropology Pacific Spirit Park, in Vancouver. Canadian native Bristowe served as one of the bridesmaids and excitedly took to Instagram to share photos from her friend’s nuptials.
The reality star posted a photo of herself standing outdoors with Booth in her bridesmaids dress: a strapless, lilac, floor-length number by Faviana. “OMG GET MARRIED ALREADY,” she joked. “#jesandkyle.”
She also shared a selfie of her hair and makeup. “Shout out to@alldolledupstudio for doing an unbelievable job on our make up for the wedding yesterday,” Bristowe captioned the pic. “Side note- I cried about 13 times and not once did my make up run.”

Bristowe concluded the wedding weekend by sharing a professional shot of the bride and groom dancing at their reception. “’Our world is in need of more true, beautiful love stories. I believe if we had more true, beautiful love stories, we would have a better world. Jes and Kyle, your story is one of those beautiful love stories,’” Bristowe captioned the photo, quoting the bride’s mother. “I absolutely loved being a part of this perfect day. Bessy cat you’re one beautiful bride.#jesandkyle.”
Millions of viewers tuned in to watch the former Bachelorette and Booth get engaged during the Season 11 finale last July. Booth popped the question at the time with a $150,000 rock designed by Neil Lane.
“I fall more and more in love with you every time I see you,” Booth told his future bride in the episode. “I see a best friend, a partner in crime. You have already made me the happiest guy in the world. I love you so much.”
