Rachel Lindsay proved just how serious she is about her Bachelorette role on the Monday, June 5 episode. DeMario returned with hopes of receiving a second chance after last week’s surprise departure, but he was sent home once again. Here, The Knot highlights five moments that brought Rachel closer to finding love on the latest episode.

1. “Whaboom Guy” Goes Home
Following DeMario’s plea to return to the mansion, Rachel spends quality time with her remaining suitors. At the cocktail party, “Whaboom guy” Lucas claims that Blake has been making inappropriate gestures, including suggestively eating a banana by Lucas’ bed. Although Blake clears the air with Rachel, she clearly has no patience for drama.

Bryan and Bryce are first to be called at the rose ceremony, followed by Eric, Anthony, Will, Jonathan, Jack, Matt, Alex, Adam, Kenny, Brady, Lee, Iggy, Fred, and Diggy.

Jamey and Lucas leave the mansion without making a scene. Blake, however, is angry to be “in the same category” as “Whaboom guy.” He confronts Lucas, encouraging him to go back to his “clown life.”

2. Off to Visit Ellen
Rachel invites Bryan, Jonathan, Peter, Alex, Will, and Fred to visit The Ellen Show. The men believe they’ll be in the audience, but they soon learn that they’ll be Ellen DeGeneres‘ guests.

The men dance topless for the audience and then play “Never Have I Ever.” Jonathan and Fred are disappointed to learn that the other men have kissed Rachel.

Later that evening, Rachel sends Fred home after an awkward first kiss, and Alex receives the date rose.

3. Giddy-Up!
For the week’s one-on-one date, Rachel and Anthony ride horses on Rodeo Drive. They stay on the steeds to be fitted for cowboy boots, eat cupcakes, and drink champagne. Rachel enjoys seeing Anthony’s adventurous side.

That night, the two share a romantic dance and Anthony receives the date rose.

4. Muddy the Waters
Brady, Dean, Adam, Kenny, Bryce, Lee, Jack, and Eric join Rachel for the next group date. The men are shocked when Rachel arrives with Bachelor alums Raven Gates, Corinne Olympios, Jasmine Goode, and Alexis Waters.

The ladies and gents enjoy a rowdy bus ride to a saloon where the men mud wrestle for Rachel’s affection. The men put on a good show and Bryce wins the competition.

Rachel’s friends confide that they don’t believe Eric is right for her. Dean, however, receives their seal of approval. Later, Rachel gives the date rose to Eric despite her friends’ advice.

5. Rachel’s Suitors See a Red Flag
Iggy clues Rachel in on Eric’s ill intentions. He then calls Eric out which adds to the mounting tension. “I don’t see the person that the men describe,” Rachel says in the confessional. “I need to get to the bottom of it.”

Rachel chooses to give Eric the benefit of the doubt, and he returns to the mansion to confront his competitors.

The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
