Look who’s back! Former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo just recreated their proposal a year after their dreamy engagement in Rioja, Spain, was documented for the season 13 finale of the show.
Abasolo posted a picture of the pair lovingly holding hands on Wednesday, May 30, as he once again dropped down to his knee. “Back to where it all began for RnB!” he wrote. “Rioja will always have our hearts!”
Lindsay also posted photos from their “baecation” in Spanish wine country. “Noches en Rioja con mi amor en Calle del Laurel o Calle del Yanny,” she expressed, alongside their travel hashtag: #rnbadventures. When translated, Lindsay wrote: “Nights in Rioja with my love on Calle del Laurel or Calle del Yanny,” she joked about the recent viral internet debate. Calle Laurel is a popular foodie street in the region.
This trip has now been on their radar for close to a year. The couple spoke about heading back to Rioja in a call with The Knot and other reporters in July 2017, immediately after their season finale aired. “I’m so excited about that,” Lindsay said at the time, while adding they would want to go back “as soon as possible.”
“To go back to a place where [I was] proposed to? It’s huge,” she continued.
As recalled, Lindsay and Abasolo’s proposal was featured in the season 13 finale of the gorgeous wine region—but her brutal split with Peter Kraus also aired in the romantic destination.
