All the nostalgia—and something new! Disney released its final trailer for the upcoming live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast on Monday, January 30, and it’s truly a gem.
The preview opens with Belle (Emma Watson) going about her daily routine—with her head buried in a book as she strolls through her lively local village. The clip then cuts to pompous, self-centered villain Gaston (played by Luke Evans), who admires himself in the mirror as “the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen.”
While Belle questions her future marriage to Gaston, her father finds himself in a terrifying predicament as he’s held captive by Beast (Dan Stevens). His bold, bookworm of a daughter ultimately comes to his rescue and takes her father’s place inside the cold, dilapidated castle.
Lucky for Belle, she meets some friends–what most would consider as inanimate objects–and they include: Mrs. Potts (Emma Thompson), Chip (Nathan Mack), Cogsworth (Sir Ian McKellen), and Lumiere (Ewan McGregor). The servants of Prince Adam were also cursed along with everything else within the castle, and it’s up to Belle to break the spell.

The enchanting movie features a loaded soundtrack featuring some of the biggest current artists, including La La Land’s John Legend and R&B superstar Ariana Grande. The two deliver a gorgeous rendition of Disney classic “Tale as Old as Time.” Original soundtrack singer Celine Dion will also be featured in the live action remake with a new tune.
Along with the superstar artists, Harry Potter’s Watson also showcases her vocal chops as she sings “Belle,” which is arguably one of the most iconic songs under the Disney movie portfolio.
The film hits theaters on March 17. Watch above!
