Back on the small screen! The adorable, new promo photos for Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell’s upcoming reality series, Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After, were released this week, and two appear to be happier than ever.
In the promotional snapshots, the two pose in an engagement-inspired shoot complete with sunshine, smooches, and a sweeping meadow.

But things will get slightly tricky. According to Freeform, Bushnell will confront Higgins about a glaring issue in their relationship that traces back to his season of The Bachelor.
The couple will travel from Denver to L.A. to attend the After the Final Rose special for season 12 Bachelorette, JoJo Fletcher — also recalled as Higgins’ runner-up. Though Fletcher was engaged to Jordan Rodgers at the time of the special, Bushnell finds herself conflicted with the fact that her future husband said “I Love you” to the two finalists while taping ABC’s The Bachelor.

The premiere will also feature an appearance from two other contestants on Higgins’ season of the Bachelor — twins Haley and Emily Ferguson — who most recently appeared on Bachelor in Paradise.

A new trailer for the upcoming season also teases an appearance from controversial Bachelorette villain Chad Johnson, whom Higgins calls “psycho.” Bushnell adds, “Does it make you sad that you hurt other people?”
