Eight was great too. After releasing a beautiful, new studio version of “Die With You” on her ninth wedding anniversary, R&B superstar Beyonce continued the celebration on Tuesday, April 4, by posting never-before-seen photos from her 2016 wedding anniversary trip to the Grand Canyon with Jay Z.
The Lemonade mastermind, 35, shared the sweet photos on her website, and tagged the images under “Anniversary,” “Die With You,” and “My Life.”
She included dazzling images of the Carter family enjoying the desert and exploring the U.S. National Park, along with romantic, PDA-filled couple shots of herself kissing Jay. The couple brought their own bottle and toasted to their adventurous marriage while overlooking the deep canyon below. They also enjoyed a luxurious helicopter ride over the natural geological formation.
Along with photos from the trip, Beyonce shared an image of a special gift she had prepared for her husband—a ring engraved with the words, “Happy 8th Anniversary.” In between the shots, she artistically included lyrics from “Die With You,” which received a resurgence of attention on Tuesday.
The couple got married at their New York City penthouse on April 4, 2008. On Tuesday, Bey shared even more video footage from their low-key, private wedding, as well as other key milestones in their marriage. The singer is currently expecting twins, which she announced in February with a boudoir, bridal-inspired photoshoot.
