The Gossip Girl actress, 29, posted a photo from inside her husband’s birthday festivities at Japanese restaurant O Ya in NYC. “We fell in love at your restaurant in Boston,” Lively wrote, alongside a snapshot of herself embracing the birthday boy in a sea of balloons. “We stay in love at your restaurant in NY. Thank you for the BEST food and memories! You are our FAVORITE!! Another happy birthday with @vancityreynolds . Hey, Reynolds, I like you a wh❤️le lot. Just sayin’…😍.”
Reynolds, overwhelmed with gratitude, also shared a post from inside the special occasion. “Best. Birthday. Everrrrr,” the Deadpool actor wrote on Instagram. “Courtesy of my wife, buddy, and international spy, @blakelively. With huge thanks to my favorite restaurant in NYC,@_o_ya_ — and a special shout out to our children for not ruining everything like they planned.”
As the world collectively admired the couple late Tuesday, October 25, their famous friend Taylor Swift had a similar reaction to the posts. The 1989 superstar commented under a post and wrote, “Thanks guys. Now I’m drowning in tears of joy.”
It’s been a busy season for the pair, who welcomed their second child in September. Days after giving birth, Lively attended a close friend’s wedding in NYC, followed by a recent weekend upstate with her husband and friends.
