Couple friends! Blake Lively joined husband Ryan Reynolds at the TIME 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday, April 25, and the superstar couple got to mingle with fellow A-listers John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.
Both Legend and Reynolds were honored for their accomplishments as part of the magazine’s annual list of movers and shakers in their respective industries, including entertainment, technology and more.

For the star-studded occasion, Reynolds made sure to bring an additional important figure in his personal life to enjoy the experience: His mom Tammy Reynolds. The entire room enjoyed a performance by Legend, who was one of the featured influencers on the cover of TIME.
Supermodel Teigen supported Legend at the black-tie affair, and looked resplendent in an eye-catching, metallic, strapless gown that featured a large slit. Lively wore a chantilly-lace piece by Marchesa, and was later seen laughing with the Georgina Chapman’s husband Harvey Weinstein.
In the actual magazine, the legendary Harry Belafonte wrote a touching essay about Legend, noting: “He’s a remarkable lyricist, and the songs he has giftedly crafted are straight-ahead beautiful melodies that will find a welcoming home in the great library of American songs.”

Beloved actress Helen Mirren, meanwhile, wrote a piece about Deadpool actor Reynolds. “Ryan is also rumpled, kind, committed and generous, especially to women,” she expressed. “He likes them in the most simple, direct, unadorned way: for their humanity. (How very appropriate that he is the father of two girls.) He has a natural wit, which he often turns on himself, and he can balance his private and public life with great dexterity. He is open and generous, but never inappropriate. I suspect this is part of what makes him such an appealing performer.”
Reynolds and Lively married in South Carolina in 2012. They are parents to two little girls, James, 2, and Ines, 6 months.
Teigen and Legend celebrated their three-year anniversary last September. The couple, who married in Lake Como, Italy, now share a sweet 1-year-old daughter named Luna.
