Broad City… big secret! Comedian Ilana Glazer married longtime boyfriend David Rooklin last month in a secret wedding ceremony.
The bride’s friend Phoebe Robinson took to Instagram to reveal the news on Monday, March 13—and that wasn’t the podcaster’s only revelation from the low-key nuptials. Robinson also shared a photo from the couple’s wedding.
“Belated congrats to these beautiful 👼🏽 on getting hitched,” Robinson expressed. “Love you hard and deep. You’re truly #RelationshipGoals and inspire me. #YQY 📸: @chiokenassor.”
The photographer Chioke Nassor posted the same photo weeks ago, writing: “What can I say? I love love! Happy matrimony to two of my favorite people.”

Rooklin is a scientist who specializes in molecular modeling. In a 2014 New Yorker piece, he briefly spoke out about his girlfriend’s craft.

“By going to see their live shows over the years, I’ve gotten an idea of the core facet of their movement,” Rooklin said at the time of Glazer and Abbi Jacobson. “If you remove the divide between performer and audience, you have something else. It’s like a collaboration.”
