It’s a weekend of celebrations for singer Cassadee Pope! The Voice winner announced her engagement to All Time Low drummer Rian Dawson on Friday, February 10–just two days before attending the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
“WE’RE ENGAGED,” Pope, 27, wrote alongside an Instagram snap of the duo sharing a kiss and showing off her diamond ring. Dawson, 29, reposted the adorable photo. “The love of my life is now OFFICIALLY the love of my life. Never been happier,” he added.
The duo began dating in 2010, two years before Pope won season three of NBC’s hit singing competition. “He’s first of all, an amazing, amazing supporter of mine,” she told Taste of Country last summer. “And he has been since the beginning, since six-and-a-half years ago before The Voice, before everything.”
On Sunday night, Pope is hoping to celebrate her first Grammy win. She and fellow singer Chris Young have been nominated for Best Country Duo for their duet, “Think Of You.” Regardless of the outcome, this will undoubtedly be remembered as a winning weekend for Pope.
The 59th Annual Grammy Awards airs Sunday, February 12, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
