Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel
Before they stepped out publicly back in 2007, Timberlake worked hard to win Biel over. After being introduced by mutual friends, the “Can’t Stop the Feeling” singer, 36, asked the actress, 34, out via telephone.
“I did it the old fashioned way,” Timberlake said during a 2012 press conference. “I had to be pretty persistent in order to get her to say yes. But I have a fair amount of tenacity and if I want something, I stick to it. And in the end she agreed.”

The A-listers went on to marry on October 19, 2012. Their son Silas will turn 2 in April.
George Clooney and Amal Clooney
“I met George when I was 35 and starting to become quite resigned to the idea that I was getting to be a spinster,” Amal said at her husband’s AFI Lifetime Achievement Awards Ceremony in June 2018. “Then we met and started hiding out in my London flat, and very soon it felt like no matter what happened, I would never want to be with anyone else. I couldn’t sleep when we were apart.”

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill
Although these country crooners first met at a Nashville radio station event, their romance didn’t begin until Hill opened for McGraw’s tour.

“The best thing that happened to me is in 1996; I had a really hot chick on the road with me!” the “Humble and Kind” singer said during an acceptance speech last year, just before the couple’s 20th wedding anniversary. “I fought and I fought and I fought to stay away from her, as long as I could. And that lasted about as long as her job at McDonald’s.”
The lovebirds wed on October 6, 1996. They share three daughters.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen
Back in 2006, this power couple went on a blind date after being set up by a friend. “This friend told me he knew a girl version of me,” Brady, 36, recalled in a 2009 interview with Details magazine. “And he said to me he’d found a boy version of me,” Bundchen, 39, added. For their first date, they met for dinner in New York City.

The duo will celebrate eight years of marriage on February 26. Together, they have two children, and Brady shares a son with actress Bridget Moynahan.
Beyonce and Jay-Z
Beyonce was only a teenager when she first met Jay-Z. At the time, she was a member of Destiny’s Child. “I was 18 when we first met, 19 when we started dating,” the songstress, 35, told Glamour magazine. After starring in the rapper’s “Bonnie & Clyde” music video together, rumors surfaced that they were an item.
Beyonce and Jay-Z, 47, married on April 4, 2008. Their daughter, Blue Ivy, was born in January 2012.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi
De Rossi felt unlovable when she first met DeGeneres at a 2004 photo shoot. “I instantly adored her,” the 44-year-old actress told CBS Sunday Morning back in 2011. “But I was very closeted and very heavy. I thought that no one would ever love me if they knew I was gay and especially if they saw I was fat.”
Despite her concerns, the Scandal star caught DeGeneres’ eye. “The fact that she noticed me at that point and liked who I was, was kind of significant. Yeah, it was great,” de Rossi said.
During a taping of her talk show in 2008, DeGeneres, 59, announced that she planned to marry the actress. They made their union official on August 16, 2008.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
In 2010, this pair met while filming Green Lantern. At the time, Lively, 29, was dating Penn Badgley, and Reynolds, 40, was married to Scarlett Johansson.
The two went public in late 2011, and got married on September 9, 2012. They share two adorable baby girls, who both made their red carpet debut at Reynolds’ Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in December.

Although Diaz knew Madden’s sister-in-law, Nicole Richie, and his brother, Joel Madden, it took a couple of years for the actress, 44, and the Good Charlotte musician, 37, to meet in person.
“The first thing I said when I first met my [would be] husband was, ‘He’s hot,'” Diaz told Andy Cohen last year. “How come I didn’t know this before? We had never been in the same circle.”

These lovebirds first met at a baseball event, and Verlander was instantly captivated by Upton’s beauty. In 2015, the MLB player, 33, shared a throwback photo of the day he met the supermodel.
