Following his whirlwind wedding weekend, Chance the Rapper took to Instagram Monday, March 11, to unveil the first, official images from his nuptials to longtime love Kirsten Corley.

The artist (nee Chancellor Johnathan Bennett) posted a black-and-white portrait with his wife, captioning it, “The Bennetts,” and an accompanying slideshow featuring numerous standout moments with the bride.

The Chicago-based couple opted for a domestination wedding at the Pelican Hill resort in Newport Beach, California. Corley stunned in a strapless lace and tulle gown by Galia Lahav in a look that was styled by Chicago designer Azeeza Khan. The bride paired her luxe wedding day look with a soft up-do and loose tendrils framing her face, and a pair of diamond drop earrings.

According to E! News, the entire wedding was perfect–even with the inclusion of one particularly-adorable snafu. Mid-ceremony, the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Kensli, interrupted and ran up to her dad, who then proceeded to pick the little one up for the remainder of the time.

The pair exchanged vows before 150 loved ones in the iconic rotunda of the resort. Guests included Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and Dave Chapelle.

Bennett’s wedding generated much anticipation and excitement after the rapper took to Twitter last week to share the beginning stages of his love story to Corley. The pair first met when the future superstar rapper was forced to attend his mom’s work event at age 9. It was there that Corley performed a Destiny’s Child dance with two of her friends.

“Now I’m locking eyes with the prettiest girl [I’ve] ever seen in my almost-a-decade of life on earth,” he tweeted. “I really shouldn’t even say locked eyes cause really, I was just staring at her.”

He didn’t dance with her at the time despite his father’s encouragement. “Young me was shy,” Chance concluded. “This wasn’t the time or place. Not just because it wasn’t my party, not because it was their moment to dance, not even cause I was nervous about dancing in front of folks. It’s cause I knew I was gonna marry that girl.”
