Welcome Mr. Schwarzenegger and Mrs. Pratt. Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are now officially husband and wife following a whirlwind engagement.

The couple married on June 8.

The pair first met while attending Hillsong Church together. They subsequently got engaged in January 2019. “I’m thrilled to be marrying you,” Pratt wrote at the time in his shocking announcement. “Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go.”

According to friends, however, the proposal was hardly a surprise. “She’s super happy,” mother of the bride Maria Shriver said in January. “And gave me very strict instructions not to talk about it. She said, ‘It’s not your moment.’ I’m like, ‘I’m clear.’ I gave her that line!”

Shriver hosted a bridal shower for her daughter in late April. About 100 guests, including the one and only Oprah Winfrey, attended the backyard bridal luncheon that was described by onlookers as “beautiful and elegant,” according to E! News. There, Pratt stopped by and delivered a rousing toast that had the entire room laughing.

This is the first marriage for Katherine and the second for Pratt, who shares a son, Jack, with his ex, Anna Faris.
