Back to the beginning! Chrissy Teigen and John Legend returned to their wedding spot in Italy this weekend to celebrate where “it all began.” The 30-year old model took to Instagram to commemorate the special occasion, reveling in her good fortune.
“Back to where it all began – Lake Como, Italy – first came here in 2007,” she wrote, alongside a photo of herself with her husband. “A boat tour guide took us to a little spot on the lake and told us to make a wish. I asked for this to be the man I marry and have children with. I think John asked for the most perfect bite of cacio e pepe. Both came true, and here we are.”
The scenic area in Northern Italy holds a dear place in Teigen and Legend’s hearts. The high-profile stars were married in that location on September 14, 2013, after a two-year engagement.

Before reaching their destination, the family of three made a stop in Tuscany to enjoy time with friends, including Teigen’s celebrity hairstylist pal, Jen Atkin. After seeing the sights and drinking “expensive wine,” the friends posed for a photo – which Teigen simply captioned, “Famiglia!” meaning “family first.”
Although jetting off to Italy was most-likely the highlight of the couple’s summer thus far, they’ve had plenty to keep them busy here in the States as well.
