It was a very Wilson wedding! Shortly after Ciara and Russell Wilson married on Wednesday, July 6, the newlyweds took to social media to share the first photo from their intimate castle wedding.
The bride, 30, and groom, 27, accompanied their announcement with a glam snapshot of Wilson leading Ciara up the aisle after being pronounced husband and wife. “We are The Wilsons!” the pair proclaimed on Instagram and Twitter.
In the pic, Ciara looks absolutely stunning in a lace-embroidered, bell-sleeved gown with a corset top. The dress, a sophisticated, bohemian creation, was custom-designed by Roberto Cavalli’s creative director Peter Dundas.
Her new husband, who’s in a black tux, adorably holds her hand as he flashes his wedding band on his left hand. Wilson cautiously looks down in the photo as he leads her to the entryway.

The couple got married on Wednesday in an intimate ceremony at the Peckforton Castle in Liverpool. There to witness the nuptials were their closest family members and friends, including LaLa Anthony, Kelly Rowland and Jennifer Hudson.
News of their summertime wedding first broke this week after it was reported that they had celebrated their rehearsal dinner at the Titanic Hotel on Tuesday, July 5. The couple got engaged this past March during a romantic tropical vacation.
