Kane Brown and Katelyn Jae are officially married. The country singer married his fiancée in a Nashville wedding this weekend after the couple’s April 2017 engagement.
The groom posted a picture from his wedding, a tender moment in which he plants a kiss on Jae’s forehead alongside the caption “Kb2,” signifying that the bride is now “Katelyn Brown.”
The couple got engaged on Easter Sunday in 2017, and the “Thunder in the Rain” singer announced the relationship status update during a show in Philadelphia. Like Brown, Jae is also a singer.
She’s also his muse and his inspiration. Close to a year ago, Brown revealed that much of his latest album was written with Jae in mind, including the single “Heaven.”
“[It’s] just like a love story that I feel like a bunch of girls want their guys to say to them and how it makes them feel,” he told Entertainment Tonight in an interview. “Basically, [it’s] talking about my fiancee… She’s literally just like me — she wears all my clothes. She’s funny, we get along all the time [and] she loves music just as much as I do.”
It’s been an eventful season for Kane, who set numerous record-setting wins at the 2018 American Music Awards on October 9.
