Tis the season to visit Christmas tree farms and deck the halls with smells of evergreens and sights of twinkling lights and big red bows. But it wasn’t jingle bells this entrepreneurial couple were thinking of on their journey to Henry’s Christmas Tree Farm in Hope, Rhode Island last weekend – it was wedding bells.
Creator and blogger behind Classy Girls Wear Pearls Sarah Vickers, and her now husband Kiel James Patrick whose American made brand shares his moniker, were married among hundreds of decorated pine trees on the Rhode Island farm on December 5.

The bride and groom captured true New England charm when they exchanged vows beneath an arch of white birch branches decorated with pine cones, white roses and evergreen garlands; their aisle was dressed in richly-colored rugs.

It’s no secret the two were meant to be married in the midst of a Christmas wonderland. Henry’s Christmas Tree Farm reported on Instagram, “Kiel and Sarah planted a tree of love here together 15 years ago when they first met. Today their tree grows tall & strong and like their love for each other it brings joy and warmth to all who gather around it. May their love grow and last forevergreen.”
On November 27, 2014, Vickers shared a photo on Instagram of herself and Patrick recreating an old photo in front of their tree. “Trees, like people, grow strong with love,” she wrote. “Pictures taken exactly 5 years apart. Our tree has really grown up!”
The couple also replicated a photo from 2010 exactly 5 years later on their wedding day. Vickers captioned the side-by-side Instagram photos, “Traditions fortify our existence by the virtue of love. Present experiences and past memories continuously intertwine our souls into a great untanglable knot. At the end, what had happened was our life. Regardless of point, rhyme, or reason, we improved each other’s beings by creating and carrying on traditions together with each passing season.”

Instead of lifting his bride and crossing over their home’s threshold, with the sound of family cheering in the background Patrick carried Vickers to their Jeep Wagoneer to head back to their home for a small reception.
“We ran from the wedding. Kiel lifted me off my feet and carried me into our wagon. We drove away from the farm…in complete silence. So many feeling and thoughts,” the bride shared with a photo of the two inside their ride, flashing her stunning emerald engagement ring now paired with her new diamond wedding band.
“At the exact same moment after 7 minutes of silence we both looked at each other and exclaimed ‘We’re married!’ Kiel hit the brakes. We sat on the side of road eyes full of tears and came to the realization of what just happened. Our lives were now one life and everything was more beautiful because of it.”
