It’s been quite the year for both Dan and Shay. The country singers will now be touring the country with wedding bands on their fingers after Shay married fiancee Hannah Billingsley this weekend.
According to People, the couple married on Friday, October 20, between two oak trees on the groom’s family home in Arkansas. The bride and groom hired wedding planner Jessica Sloane to execute the details, including a reception that boasted of a sweeping view of the Ozarks.
The bride, a former Miss Arkansas, looked beautiful in a gown by Ravini. Her bridesmaids coordinated dresses in blush and champagne hues.
The groom was supported by two groomsmen, his longtime bandmate Dan Smyers and their guitarist Justin Richards. Of course, the wedding wasn’t complete without the inclusion of the bride and groom’s 9-month-old son Asher, who was carried down the aisle in a little tuxedo.
“Last night was perfect,” Mooney tweeted. “Thanks for all the well wishes! Now off to our #honeymooney 😍 @HLB15.”
The couple got engaged in October 2016. “I liked it… so I put a ring on it,” Mooney announced at the time. “I’m the luckiest man in the world. @hannah.billingsley I love you.”
His bandmate Smyers married his fiancee, Abby Law, in a low-key Nashville ceremony in May.
