David Henrie‘s recent wedding to his fiancee, Maria Cahill, doubled as a Wizards of Waverly Place reunion!

The groom’s former costars, including Selena Gomez and Jake T. Austin, joined the festivities on Friday, April 21. The Knot confirmed that Henrie married Cahill in California. Gomez took to Instagram to congratulate her on-screen sibling on Sunday.

“Very much in my feelings about my big brother getting married,” the superstar singer expressed. “Even though we for sure knew it would be him first. May God bless you and your beautiful wife Henrie!”

Before the ceremony, the groom reminisced about his time on the popular Disney show. The cast  used to “all bet on who would be the first one to get married,” he told People. “No one bet on Jake, and I didn’t bet on Selena. I probably bet on myself. I always knew I wanted to get married and looked forward to being a husband.”

The actor, who is also known for his role as Luke Mosby on How I Met Your Mother, knew the Cahill was special from the moment he met her at an event. “Now, almost three years later, it’s almost surreal that we’re finally getting married,” he told The Knot prior to the nuptials. “We’re so blessed to be surrounded by our family and friends to celebrate this special day, and I can’t wait to start this next adventure with my best friend and soulmate.”

Gomez was “one of the first people I told I was getting married,” Henrie told People. “She was like, ‘I’m in. Whenever it is, I’ll be there.’”

While Gomez had planned to sing at the reception, the groom had a change of heart. “As it got closer, I was like ‘No, just relax and enjoy the evening.’ But it very well might [happen spontaneously],” he added.

For their honeymoon, the newlyweds will enjoy a relaxing stay at Sandals in St. Lucia. “I’m excited to actually go away with her and just be alone,” Henrie concluded to the magazine. “It’s been such an ordeal leading up to [the wedding], so when you’re alone and you can finally exhale and look at each other… I’m really excited for that.”
