An Illinois-based Labrador Retriever named Boone is the latest viral star to hit the wedding scene after his all-too-relatable reaction to his owners’ wedding vows was captured during the ceremony.

On July 28, Jayce Conway and Angie Blumberg married outdoors in Montana, where they had their beloved dog witness the picture-perfect outdoor nuptials. Right as the pair—best friends since preschool—exchanged their vows, Boone decided to deliver an expression of love of his own.

The couple’s photographer Chris Davis of Good Road Photography captured the six-year-old puppy interrupting the otherwise sentimental moment by joyously sprawling out on the grass located right at his owners’ feet.

Local NBC outlet WBIR shared the hilarious moment to its Facebook page, and it went viral for obvious reasons.

Now, with close to 6,000 shares, Boone is the latest pet to take center stage at a wedding. Other recent moments involving puppies include the time when a couple couldn’t bring their dog to the wedding, so they made a cardboard cut-out instead.

There was another incident when a stray dog wandered into a couple’s ceremony in Brazil, and found a resting spot on the bride’s cathedral-length train. Finally, one devoted dog lover ended up making her beloved golden retriever the flower girl in her wedding last December.
