Two peas in a pod. NBA superstar Dwyane Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union, celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary this week and took to Instagram to commemorate the special occasion.
Union and Wade posted several moments on Tuesday, August 30, including footage from their lavish 2014 wedding. “The beginning… 8-30-2014#TheWades #OurLifeOurWay,” the Being Mary Jane actress captioned the clip. She also proudly shared a montage of photos from their best moments together as a couple, including snapshots of themselves at red carpet events, football games, and their wedding.

Of course, the two spent quality time together to celebrate their marriage. Union shared a video of herself with her husband, goofing around and celebrating their love with red wine and roses. “In honor of our anniversary, our favorite musical of all time,” Union announced in her clip, before she and Wade launched into a tune from Hamilton.

Like his wife, Wade also got sentimental on Tuesday via social media. The Team USA player posted a photo of himself grinning as his wife struts beside him. “This is how 2 years of being married to you has felt,” the athlete wrote. “Happy Anniversary to my beautiful wife.”
One photo wasn’t enough for the basketball player, who followed up with a sweet snap of himself looking down affectionately at her. “Mrs. Independent! I got me one.. Happy Anniversary baby!” he wrote.
The couple got married in an intimate Miami wedding on August 30, 2014. Guests included Kevin Hart, Ludacris, and John Legend, who serenaded the pair at their reception.
