That’s all. A month after John Krasinski declared his love — repeatedly — for The Devil Wears Prada, his wife, Emily Blunt, revealed just how much her husband knows about her breakout 2006 film.
In an interview with E! News on Wednesday, September 28, the Girl on the Train actress said Krasinski knows even more about the film than people realize.
“He knows every single one of Anne Hathaway’s outfits — down pat,” Blunt, 33, shared. “I remember it came on one day when we first started dating and he was watching the montage of when she has all the different amazing outfits. And he was watching and he goes, ‘Anddd that’s my favorite outfit.’ And I was like, ‘Get a grip.’”
Krasinski memorably announced last month that he’s seen the movie dozens of times, even prior to entering into a relationship with Blunt.
“We had just started dating,” the Office alum told E! in August in a separate interview. “And she had come over to my house. She popped by — in between some things — and I was watching it. She opened the door and I flipped the channel and she looked at me like, ‘Were you just watching porn?’…I think it was better for me at the time for her to think I was watching porn than watching The Devil Wears Prada for the seventy-fifth time.”
Ultimately, he fessed up to his future wife. “Luckily, we had been dating for about a year so there was a lot of trust built up,” Krasinski said at the time.
Blunt joked about her husband’s obsession on Wednesday. “He’s kind of stalker-y like that,” she remarked sarcastically. “No, I’m touched and honored.”
The couple married in 2010, and are parents to two young daughters, Hazel and Violet.
