For model Emily Ratajkowski, getting married has been twice as nice. The Gone Girl actress took to social media late Wednesday, July 11, to post photos of her brand-new, double-stone engagement ring from husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, four months after their City Hall wedding.
As recalled, the couple surprised everyone when they married in a New York City courthouse ceremony this past February. “I got married today,” Ratajkowski announced at the time. The wedding was far from traditional with the model opting for a chic, mustard yellow pantsuit from Zara for her nuptials.
She subsequently explained how her husband wasn’t prepared with a ring so he proposed instead with a paper clip as a placeholder. Four months later, Bear-McClard finally presented Ratajkowski with an updated ring: a two-stone piece set on a gold band.
The ring itself includes two large side-by-side diamonds—one, a pear-shape, while the other is rectangular.
Ratajkowski stacked the ring with a thicker gold wedding band and even posted something you’d likely see on #TheKnotRings with her brand-new sparkler at the forefront and her husband in the background.
According to an insider, Ratajkowski and her husband, a producer, were longtime friends even before the nuptials took place. “They were all in a friend group,” a source told Us Weekly this spring. “He wasn’t a stranger.”
