Another check off the list! Actress Emmy Rossum has found her wedding dress designer.
The Shameless star, 30, revealed her choice on Tuesday, December 6, to E! News at an event honoring beloved American designer Carolina Herrera in New York City.
“You’ll find out tonight,” Rossum shared. ”Yeah, she’ll be making it. That’s all I’ll say!”
Rossum and Mr. Robot director Sam Esmail got engaged in August 2015. “I happened to be in the bathtub when it happened,” the Phantom of the Opera star recently told Chelsea Handler of the proposal. “Then I realized that it was happening, and then I got out of the bathtub because I didn’t want the story to be that I was in the bathtub when it was happening. And then I got cold as it was still going on, got back in the bathtub. It was a comedy of errors, but it all worked out.”
The pair first met on the set of the 2014 movie Comet, which Esmail wrote and directed. In January 2016, Rossum adorably supported Esmail at the Golden Globes after he was nominated for his television series Mr. Robot.
In his acceptance speech, Esmail thanked Rossum for introducing him to the series’ star Rami Malek. “More importantly, I gotta thank you for being my best friend,” he noted. “And I love you.”
