A wedding can bring lots of emotions to the forefront for a couple, offering conflicting viewpoints and tough decisions, but the story behind this emotional groom’s sensitive response at the altar is a tale that ends in happy tears.
The emotional groom, Will Ceaser, can barely contain himself while watching his bride Lindsey Whitehead walk down the aisle in the Facebook video shared on December 6. Becoming a true overnight sensation, the video of the Pascagoula, Mississippi youth pastor quickly surpassed the half-million view mark, and has now been viewed over 3.7 million times!
Alyssa Hudson, who shared the video wrote, “One day I hope to find a man that looks at me the way Will Ceaser looks at Lindsey Whitehead.” She called for viewers to share the video with Ellen Degeneres adding, “They are two of the most beautiful, loving people I have ever known. Let’s show people what love really looks like.”
The bride shared a sweet sentiment to her future husband the morning of their wedding, unknowing of her husband’s future fame, writing, “I’ve dreamed of this day since I was little. Today I marry my best friend, Will Ceaser.” She continued, “This is going to be perfect. See you at the altar.” The couple were married on December 5.
As you watch the 30-second video – through happy tears of your own – you’ll notice a few things: the audible sniffles of the emotional groom, the gentle consoling touch of his groomsman, an adorable grinning ring bearer waving to the bride, and the reverend who is about to marry the two, Eddie Whyte, shedding a few tears himself.
The bride must have known something momentous was going to occur on her wedding day, as she expertly predicted her husband’s reaction in a post to her Facebook page back in August! On August 22 Whitehead shared a different groom’s viral video writing, “This will be us Will Ceaser.”
Little did she know that her man would be the next emotional groom to shed his tears for his beautiful bride across millions of tablets and smartphones worldwide!
