Eva Longoria is a married woman!
The Telenovela star tied the knot with fiance Jose “Pepe” Baston on Saturday, May 21 in a stunning, star-filled celebration just outside of Mexico City, Mexico.
Actress Longoria, 41, and media executive Baston, 47, wed yesterday in front of television, film and music industry elite, and it all went down at Baston’s Valle de Bravo home on Lake Avándaro, located near Mexico City, Hola! USA reports. The couple exchanged vows and said “I do” in a bilingual ceremony, performed in both English and Spanish.
Longoria looked stunning in a form-fitting white wedding dress with sweetheart neckline. The dress was custom designed for her by the bride’s friend and former “Posh” Spice Girl Victoria Beckham a source for The Knot shared. The designer’s former-athlete-turned-model husband David Beckham was also in attendance.
Baston also looked dashing in a grey three-piece suit created by Italian designer Brunello Cucinellias he greeted his soon-to-be wife at the outdoor alter. The couple took advantage of a beautiful day, marrying in the gardens of the groom’s home.
“Half of Hollywood, or at least, Eva’s celebrities friends” joined the bride and groom for their ceremony at the tropical beach location a source for The Knot says. Taking in the stunning views of the venue, the wedding and the late-night partying at the reception were actors Mario Lopez and Penelope Cruz along with singers Ricky Martin and Katy Perry to name a few.
According to the Latin American magazine, a group of musicians with special needs called Pro Down performed live during cocktail hour. The topic is very close to to the bride’s heart as Longoria has a sister with special needs and founded the Eva’s Heroes nonprofit to aid young adults with similar intellectual challenges.
Surprising the bride later in the evening was Longoria’s former Desperate Housewives co-star Vanessa Williams! The actress and famed singer pleasantly shocked the couple with a wonderful performance of her most popular song “Save the Best for Last,” Hola! USA reports, because the bride didn’t know Williams was at the wedding in the first place!
Longoria and her new husband Baston were first spotted as a couple in late 2013 and when they met, Baston had no idea who she was or the level of her acting fame, she told Ellen Degeneres in January.
Baston, who presides over the Televisa media brand and has been dating Longoria for three years, proposed to his beautiful bride with an impeccable ruby engagement ring among camels and sand dunes in Dubai last December.
