A lagoon for the honeymoon! Newlywed Eva Longoria took to her Instagram on Thursday, May 26, to share a special moment from her ongoing magical honeymoon with new husband Jose “Pepe” Baston.
The former Desperate Housewives star, 41 — who married Baston, 48, in Mexico City on May 21 — shared a video of herself in a tropical lagoon featuring a glorious waterfall. The spot was so breathtaking that she was inspired to share a snippet with fans.
“Okay, I wasn’t gonna do much snaps on my honeymoon,” a water-soaked Longoria says in the clip. “But I had to show you guys … that!” In the video, the fresh-faced star points to a small waterfall and beams as she marvels at the plunging surface.
Longoria, who appeared to have gone for a swim, captioned the video: “#HoneyMoon #Love #Waterfalls.”
Longoria and Baston exchanged vows on Saturday, May 21, under the Mexican sun on Baston’s Valle de Bravo property. About 100 friends, family, and celebrities witnessed the nuptials, including their celebrity pals Ricky Martin, Mario Lopez and Victoria and David Beckham.
Former Spice Girl Victoria designed Longoria’s wedding dress which included a stunning silhouette. The white satin wedding gown fit the 41-year-old’s curves with a sweetheart-cut bodice, slender skirt and mini fishtail train.
Victoria even enjoyed some quality time with the bride on Sunday, May 22, the day after the wedding took place.
“Morning after foot attire,” Longoria wrote. “Me and VB relaxing by the lake.” She added a funny shout-out to Beckham’s affinity for high heels, joking: “#YesIGotHerToWearUggs.”

Longoria then later mimicked the same photo on Monday with her new husband Baston cuddling closer wearing matching maroon pajamas and slippers on their honeymoon.
TheTelenovela star captioned the Monday, May 23 photo, “Matching pajamas? Check! Matching slippers? Check! Got my husband? Check!” along with hashtags “#HoneyMoon #LunaDeMiel #Love” and “#HusbandAndWife.”
