Dynamic duo forever. Country superstars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw marked 20 years of marriage on Thursday, October 6, and they celebrated the marital milestone with another incredible feat this week. The two were inducted into Nashville’s Music City Walk of Fame.
At the event on Wednesday, McGraw adorably recalled his relationship beginnings with Hill in his acceptance speech. “The best thing that happened to me is in 1996? I went on a tour called the Spontaneous Combustion Tour, and I had a really hot chick on the road with me!” the country crooner exclaimed (via ABC News). “I fought and I fought and I fought to stay away from her, as long as I could. And that lasted about as long as her job at McDonald’s. I’m not gonna go into detail, but it was a great tour, I can tell you that!”

In a separate interview with People, the couple adorably shared how they’d like to celebrate their 20th anniversary. It’s surprisingly much more low-key than expected.
“Okay, I will tell you,” the mom of three shared. “We are going to be in sweats on the couch watching some TV show we gotta find.”
McGraw chimed in: “We’re gonna binge-watch something. And I’ve made a request, but I don’t know if I’m gonna get away with it or not — I want cornbread and peas.”
The two expressed that it’s hard to believe they married two decades ago. “It feels like one, like our first-year anniversary,” Hill said, while her husband added: “It’s awesome. It’s an accomplishment, you know. It really is … In our business, it really is like 80 years. I kind of look at it as ‘dog years.’”
